THE GLOBAL COMMUNICATION CONCERN AS PRESENTING SPONSOR OF THE MEGA STAR.
The “Oops!… I Did It Again World Tour” in 2000 was the third concert tour, reaching 90 cities in North America, South America and Europe. Motorola, a global communications leader, was the Presenting Sponsor of the tour for ten sold-out shows in Germany. An important part of the sponsorship was the integration on all printed materials of the tour such as posters, flyers, roll-ups and press folders. Highlight of the advertising effort was the TV spot, which announced the tour and cooperation with Britney Spears. The spot was switched on all leading channels in Germany and integrated the company logo of Motorola as well as the product presented by Britney Spears.
Motorola created a special mobile package, which was offered prior to the tour, including a contract with E-plus and a cell phone by Motorola. The sponsoring package contained several activities such as sweepstakes, ticket raffles and even exclusive Meet & Greets with the exceptionally talented Britney Spears – an unforgettable moment for every fan.
