Star pianist Lang Lang, currently the most famous and most successful pianist in the world. With his incredible ability to create a personal relationship with his audience in no time, Lang Lang continues to impress fans all over the world.

At age three he started at the conservatory in his Chinese hometown and won his first public piano competition when he was only five years old. He started studying music in Beijing at the age of nine. His breakthrough was in 1999 when he impressed everyone at the Ravinia Festival. He was only 17 years old when he played Tschaikowsky’s first piano concert under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach, alongside the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Ever since his debut in 2001 at the Carnegie Hall, he has played multiple concert tours with conductors like Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Christoph Eschenbach and Sir Simon Rattle, and made numerous recordings.
In the past 10 years Lang Lang received several important awards for his outstanding talent and performances.
